Portland Rose Festival- Dragon Boat Races
Coincidentally, Portland's biggest weekend of the year is also our wedding weekend! There is a big parade and dragon boat races on the river front!
Powell's City of Books
The most iconic bookstore of Portland, it has a little bit of everything, even a rare book room on the top floor. If you go to the cafe you might run into the guy that makes napkin flowers.
Historic Hollywood Theater
The best spot to go for a movie! They have a ll sorts of festivals and special screenings rolling through, check out their website!
Hood River
45 Minutes down the Gorge from Edgefield- Wind surfing capital of the world and all around cute town to visit, we love Sol pizza and wandering around the shops!
Multnomah Falls
Great spot for old school breakfast and a hike! This is the most famous waterfall in Oregon and a lovely spot to explore.
Crown Point
A beautiful viewpoint of the entire river valley, it is a stunning spot to stop as you journey up the gorge! Can get windy so bring a coat.
Eastwind Drive-In
Our favorite spot to get onion rings and softserve after a day up the gorge! 30 min from Edgefield and perfect if you are going up the valley to explore.
Columbia Valley Vineyards
Lots of wineries are established along the Columbia valley, and many have tastings!
Historic Troutdale
A darling historic area of Troutdale, very close to Edgefield for antique shopping or a quick bite!
