We have made the difficult decision to change our wedding plans again due to the coronavirus pandemic. We are no longer going to be getting married at the planned venue but will be having a smaller wedding in our back yard on the same date, 8/15/2020 which will allow for more social-distancing and safety measures. We will no longer be able to host as many guests as were originally invited. We are adding a live-stream element to the ceremony for those who are unable to attend in person. Letters will be sent out next week to give you direction on if your invitation is in-person or if it has changed to a live-stream invitation. The Zoom link to the live-stream will be included in the letter and is also listed below: Join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3939585656 Meeting ID: 393 958 5656 Thank you for your patience and understanding as we try to adapt to COVID conditions.
A month or so after we met through a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel (we were both Bagels. To this day neither of us understands why one of us wasn't a Coffee), and a few weeks after we started texting each other outside of the app, we agreed to meet at a place called Lucky's 13 Pub in Bloomington. Sonja showed up early and was dressed in a stunning blue dress. Adam showed up late and dressed in what he thought was his coolest faded green t-shirt, his newest, cleanest pair of cargo shorts and flip flops. Sonja thankfully had also shown up in a forgiving mood and decided to give him a shot, which three hours later led to us ending the best, easiest, most amazing first date either of us had ever been on. Nearly four years (and still not enough trips to the mall to properly upgrade Adam's wardrobe) later, we've barely been apart since and are ready to have you help us celebrate making it legal.
