Are there any special rules for the wedding venue?

Answer

YES! Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited in ALL the church premises. Please abide by this rule to avoid penalization to the couple.

What shoes are appropriate?

Answer

Since the ceremony will be outdoors on cobblestone, we recommend comfortable footwear. Heels may be difficult to walk in, so block heels, wedges, or flats are great options. There will be outdoor landscape, thin heels may get stuck on the dirt.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

April in Cypress, Texas, typically brings warm spring weather. Expect temperatures in the 70s-80s°F during the day and cooler in the evening. We recommend dressing comfortably for an outdoor ceremony and bringing a light jacket if needed. There is a chance it might be rainy though, but we have a rainy day contingency plan. It will most likey NOT be cold/chilly.

The ceremony will be held outdoors, while the reception will take place indoors at Bayou City Fellowship Cypress.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire (No black tie). We encourage floral and spring colors. No jeans, please. Jackets are optional for men. Formal cultural attire is recommended—think guayaberas, elegant traditional dresses, and other formal cultural wear. For inspiration, check out our Zola website!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Our wedding is primarily an adults-only celebration. We love your little ones, but due to space and planning considerations, only a small number of children will be in attendance. If you are one of the few families bringing children, we will notify you directly.

How should I get there?

Please see travel tab for information on transportation. Venue is just northwest of Houston. You can arrive by car/Uber. Google Maps will direct you to venue and we will have sign to ceremony and reception area in the campus.

There will be ample, free, self-parking available at the venue.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating

The ceremony will be held outdoors at one of the buildings- in an open courtyard- of Bayou City Fellowship Cypress. Look for signs directing you upon arrival. Bayou City Fellowship Cypress 12715 Telge Rd, Cypress, TX 77429

Where should I sit?

Answer

There is no assigned seating for the ceremony. You are welcome to sit wherever you’d like! There will be assigned seating for the reception, however, please feel free to get up and mingle with others BEFORE the ceremony

We want all our guests to enjoy the meal! Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

This will be an unplugged (no phones) ceremony. We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer capturing the moment. We appreciate your cooperation in being fully present with us!

¿Qué tipo de zapatos son adecuados?

Answer

Como la ceremonia será sobre un suelo de piedra (adoquines), te recomendamos calzado cómodo. Los tacones delgados pueden atascarse en la tierra, por lo que es mejor optar por tacones gruesos, plataformas, cuñas o zapatos bajos.

¿Cómo estará el clima?

Answer

Abril en Cypress, Texas, suele tener un clima primaveral cálido. Las temperaturas estarán entre 21-27°C durante el día y serán más frescas por la noche. Te recomendamos vestir cómodo para una ceremonia al aire libre y llevar una chaqueta ligera si es necesario. Existe la posibilidad de lluvia, pero tenemos un plan de contingencia en caso de mal clima. Lo más probable es que no haga frío.

Answer

El código de vestimenta es formal de cóctel (sin etiqueta negra / black tie). Recomendamos colores primaverales y estampados florales. No se permiten jeans. Los sacos son opcionales para los hombres. Nuestra boda es principalmente solo para adultos. Queremos mucho a sus pequeños, pero debido al espacio y la logística, solo algunos niños podrán asistir. Si eres una de las familias que podrá llevar niños, te lo haremos saber directamente.

Tendremos una ceremonia sin teléfonos. Les pedimos amablemente que no tomen fotos ni videos durante la ceremonia. Habrá un fotógrafo profesional capturando cada momento. ¡Gracias por ayudarnos a que todos estén presentes en el momento especial!
