Church Ceremony
5:45 pm - 6:30 pm

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The Greeks will likely be wearing light semi-formal apparel, like light linen shirts and slacks, as it will likely be warm until 12 am. Please come in what you feel most comfortable in.
As the wedding will be performed in Ancient/Modern Greek, we will try and have pamphlets in English available explaining the chapters that the priest is reading/key messages from the ceremony. Please plan on being at the church by 5:45 pm, as Sonia will be arriving around 6 pm. The ceremony should last around 30 minutes, and everyone will be invited to go straight to the reception venue (Ble Pavillion) immediately afterwards (only 4 minutes away in an Uber) to enjoy cocktails and appetizers.

The Greeks are known for partying all night, so please bring your dancing shoes and be ready to return to your hotel around 5 am the following morning. The weather can cool down after midnight, so we recommend that you bring a light sweater and/or jacket. The food will include appetizers during the cocktail hour, a buffet for dinner, dessert after dinner, and late night hot dogs and hamburgers. Please let us know if you are a vegetarian or only eat gluten-free. Many thanks!
