Meet us at a famous Chicago bar to have a casual drink before the big day. Located on the site of the 1886 labor strike advocating for the 8-hour workday, this is a bar that celebrates working people. Just as a heads up, we won't be footing the bill tonight - but DO NOT WORRY - we gotcha covered for all the drinks at the wedding. If you want to grab a bite to eat before joining, there are a number of quality restaurants in the neighborhood.

Chicago's Garfield Park Conservatory is one of the nation's largest conservatories showcasing thousands of plant species from around the world throughout eight indoor display gardens. Alan and Alyssa had their first date in Chicago at the conservatory and instantly fell in love with its stunning and magical scenery and couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. Join us as we eat, drink, dance and oh yeah eternally promise ourselves to each other at this amazing indoor green house! Please note: We would advise planning for heavier traffic or unexpected delays getting to the ceremony since it will be rush hour. Whether you are driving, ubering or taking the train we strongly suggest adding at least an extra 10-15 minutes to your commute time to the venue.

Join us for a casual after-the-wedding beach day! We will be hanging out on the beach near our apartment. There will be ample parking, and the beach is a 15-minute walk from the Wilson Red Line stop. More details to come.
