La Posada Hotel is one of Laredo's most historically significant landmarks. Built around the iconic 1916 Laredo High School, the property reflects nearly two centuries of the city's rich history. The site has served many roles throughout the years, from the old Casa Consistorial, which housed Laredo's City Hall and jail, to the city's first public high school, before being thoughtfully transformed into the Spanish-inspired historic boutique hotel it is today.
For the bride, this landmark holds an especially meaningful connection. Her beloved Great-Aunts, Beni and Bel, attended and graduated from Laredo High School within these very walls, making La Posada a treasured part of her family's story.
