Alex and Scott met through mutual friends while students at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Alex takes pride in sharing that Scott showed interest first, but if you ask her college roommates, it’s safe to say she fell harder (and faster). What started as your typical sorority/fraternity relationship with tailgates, fun parties and lots of Instagram posts to prove it, turned into graduations that developed into a beautiful partnership that proved to be the beginning of forever. Together, they’ve built a life in Austin, one filled with the start of their careers, exciting travels, close friendships, holidays and milestones with their families who shared their unwavering support long before the ring ever found its place on her finger. And when it did, on December 20, 2025, it marked not just a proposal, but the continuation of the most special of love stories. It also confirmed what everyone around them already knew: this is a love worth celebrating!
