Free Day in Langley

This is just a note for those travelling down to Langley on September 7th, whether via the organised bus or your own transport; please note that no wedding-related activities will be scheduled for this day. The wedding party will be busy finalising logistics and preparations, so this is a free day for everyone to relax and explore at their leisure. We highly recommend spending some time in Fort Langley, a charming historic village often referred to as the “Birthplace of British Columbia.” With its picturesque riverside setting, boutique shops, cosy cafés, and local restaurants, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a laid-back day and evening before the celebrations begin. As it is a Bank Holiday this day, we would suggest reserving a table at a bar or restaurant in Fort Langley in advance!

Wedding Day

3:30 pm

While the wedding party will be dressed in black tie, we encourage guests to dress comfortably for the day. As it will likely be warm in Chilliwack, smart casual attire is absolutely welcome.

Please arrive at the venue between 3:00pm - 3:30pm, to ensure you are there prior to the ceremony start time.

Day 2 - Pool Party

To keep the celebrations going, we’ll be hosting a Day 2 Pool Party at the accommodation where our families are staying. We’ll be providing pizzas and snacks, along with complimentary beer, white wine, and red wine. If there’s a particular drink you’d prefer, we recommend bringing it along with you. Be Poolside Ready!
