Flight

Queen Beatrix International Airport

Fly into Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA)—Aruba’s main airport. There is only one airport (AUA) on the island of Aruba. We’re so grateful to have friends and family joining us from all over the East Coast! There are plenty of direct flight options, especially through United Airlines, making your trip to paradise as smooth as possible. (Note: From EWR, I've been monitoring flight costs and have been seeing $550 as the average for a non-stop through United Airlines) Prior to traveling to Aruba, you will need to fill out a ED card ($20/per person) before you get to the airport. You can only do this 7 days out of traveling. Here is the website: https://edcardaruba.aw Then screenshot end result to show proof. The airline you choose will likely ask you to upload it.

Travel Note

🚐 Airport Transfers

Roundtrip airport shuttle service is available for $45 per person and can be added when booking your hotel through Barceló. This is the easiest and most seamless way to get to and from the resort. You can also choose to arrange your own transportation upon arrival. Taxis and ride-sharing are available outside the airport. The hotel and wedding venue are approximately a 20 min cab ride off the plane. The airport is small and very accommodating, you can find a cab line outside after getting your luggage. ________________________________________ NOTE FOR TRAVELING BACK TO USA: When flying back to the U.S. from Aruba, we strongly recommend arriving at the Aruba airport 3–4 hours before your departure time — even if you have Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. U.S. Customs and Immigration is cleared in Aruba before you board, which means you’ll go through several steps including Aruban exit control, TSA-style security, and full U.S. preclearance. The process can take time, especially during busy hours, so arriving early is the best way to avoid stress and ensure a smooth trip home.
