The wedding will take place on Thursday May 21, 2026 at Barcelo All-Inclusive Resort, located on the beautiful beaches of Aruba. We'll be saying our vows with the ocean as our backdrop, and we can’t wait to have you there with us!
For our beach wedding, we recommend light, breathable attire that feels polished yet comfortable. Dresses, jumpsuits, linen, and other lightweight fabrics are great choices. For men, linen pants or dress pants with a button-down or linen shirt are perfect. A full suit is not necessary, though a lightweight blazer is welcome. Sandals or other comfortable shoes are ideal for the beach, and a shoe valet will be available if you prefer to go barefoot. We also recommend sunscreen and sunglasses, and keeping Aruba’s wind in mind when choosing your outfit.
We’re hoping for sunny skies, but in case of rain, the venue has a backup indoor space ready for us. We’ll keep you updated on the day if any changes are needed.
Guests should plan to arrive by 5:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM
In May, Aruba’s weather is warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from the low 80s to mid-90s°F (28-34°C). It can be breezy, especially on the beach. For the wedding, we recommend light, breathable clothing like dresses or linen suits, sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfortable sandals or flip-flops for the sand. Bring a light sweater for the evening, as temperatures can cool slightly. Stay hydrated and enjoy the beautiful weather!
We’ve sent invitations to our closest family and friends, and if you’ve received an invitation for a plus-one, please feel free to bring them along. Let us know if you plan to bring a guest by the RSVP date.
The reception will be beachy, relaxed, and festive. Shoes are optional, and a shoe valet will be available for anyone who would prefer to go barefoot in the sand. Since the reception will take place right after the ceremony on the beach, we recommend attire that feels celebratory but comfortable.
Yes! We’re planning a Welcome Party on 5/20/2026 and would love for you to join us. We’ll also have some group activities and excursions available for guests who want to explore the area during the weekend. Keep an eye out for updates on our itinerary!
First of all, Thank you! Since we are doing a destination wedding, we absolutely do not expect gifts from you. If you do feel like donating to our wedding and married life, we would prefer cash gifts because our home is already filled with love. You can venmo gifts to: @Jessica-Soltys @Matt-Grizil
Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding! However, as this will be a relaxed, adult-focused celebration, we kindly suggest considering whether bringing little ones is the best option for you. We want all our guests to enjoy the ceremony and reception, and sometimes it’s easier for everyone to fully enjoy the event without distractions.
