Flight

Fly into MXP or LIN airports

There are multiple ways to get to MXP or LIN airports from the US. Here are some options: Use Google Flights to show a map of Europe and adjust the settings to find a cheap flight to any city from your home airport. Amsterdam, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Rome, and Athens are some of the major hubs. It is easy to book a direct flight to Milan from one of those hubs using discount air carriers, and connecting flights should be <2 hour. Alternatively, use Kayak, Airfare Watchdog, The Points Guy, etc. to look for deals into Milan from the US. If your dates are flexible you can generally get a flight with a layover for ~500 and nonstop for ~700. We have even seen some nonstop flights on Norwegian into Rome for just over $500 if you play around with your departure date. Taking the scenic route to Milan from Rome is highly recommended by the bride and groom! We will be arriving in Frankfurt on 6/10 and staying there for a day before flying to Milan on 6/11. we'll arrive in Lake Como 6/12.
