We were going on a short get away before winter, like we like to do, this time to the Bahamas. Chris had contacted a photographer in the Bahamas and purchased the ring prior to leaving. When we got to Bahamas I had no idea this trip was going to be different but Chris knew he had to wait for his photographer to be free which wasn’t until the second to last night we were there. The locations changed for the engagement a few times leading up to the night but we ended up sneaking into the Atlantis Hotel and his photographer followed us around like the paparazzi with me not noticing a thing until I went to take a picture on this little area of beach with the castles behind us! That’s when he came up to us and asked if we wanted him to take our picture for us. Still thinking he was just a nice guy he told Chris “you should step back and do a macho pose behind her” then laughed and told me to look and that’s when I looked back and Chris was on his knee…… it was all a big blur from there until I heard him say “Chris” and realized he knew him!!! That’s when Chris said “I hired him to do our engagement pics here!” AND YES HE THOUGHT IF IT ALL BY HIMSELF! NO ONE KNEW A THING!
