On December 11th, 2019, two young adults swiped right and their love story blossomed from there! Only a few conversations later and Connor asked Christina out on their first date. The first date did not go as planned since Christina ended up not feeling well and being able to go out. Did Connor let that foil the plans? Nope, instead he brought dinner and brownies for dessert hoping to care of her. From the first time hanging out, they clicked like they had known each other their entire lives. On January 24th, 2020, Connor decided to make things official by asking to be her boyfriend. Not long after, as we all know, came COVID and quarantining, which led to them spending lots of time side by side before moving in together in July of 2020. For their 1 year anniversary, they planned a romantic getaway to Gatlinburg, TN, which only led to the discovery of their first child, Kastiel (mountain roads and morning sickness do not mix). From there on they fell more and more in love with one another. Little did Christina know that Connor had began planning on popping the question and had been searching for an engagement ring for quite some time. He planned to pop the question while they were on a big family vacation to New Jersey to see where he grew up. He specifically chose to propose on that beach as that is where his family has had many of their childhood family photoshoots. The beach is also a meaningful spot where Christina and Connor take their family photos together in South Georgia, so he knew he could getaway with a planned surprise at a beach in Jersey. He planned the surprise family photoshoot to pop the question, and little did she know, every one but her knew what was about to happen of course! They happily became engaged August 7th, 2023. It was one of the most beautiful moments in their lives. Not too long after their engagement did they learn that they were expecting their second child! (hints the prolonged engagement). Now, they are officially ready to walk down that aisle and say their "I Do's!"
