Officiant / Fancy Mouthpiece/ Friend of Honor
My name is Cari and as is tradition, I'm running on Cari time (which Solar and Brittney are well acquainted with after putting up with me for so long thus far)! A little about me - I grew up in the Nut (aka Walnut Creek, CA), have been described as a Goldendoodle personified, will eat weird or questionably safe foods per request with little to no prompting, and my favorite smell is spices - cardamom, black pepper, clove, chilis - heating up in warm oil! I had immense fortune of being paired up with one Sarah E Solar in Wall Hall at UC Davis, freshman year. The perfume of cow manure soon became the scent of friendship! I met Brittney when her and Riv hosted a friendsgiving where I shared I was seeing Halsey, Brittney's favorite artist whom I wasn't familiar with at the time. Our shared love of music has since come a long way! I'm honored to be celebrating this next step in Sarah and Brittney's romance, and even more privileged to be their fancy mouth piece (aka officiant)! Fun fact about me, I've eaten parking lot flavored dumplings. Make of that what you will! My favorite picnic foods are Samosas and/or bread with that fancy sheep-goat cheese that floats in oil and spices, ya know the one!

Hi I’m Olivia, sometimes also known as Riv. I went to school at UC Davis and am currently studying at the Royal Veterinary College in London. Fun fact about me is that I have climbed the Rock of Gibraltar 5 times and that I have been stung by a jellyfish! My favorite picnic in the park combo is fresh sourdough bread with figs, goat cheese and honey. Sarah and I met while playing ultimate frisbee together on the Davis team. Solar had top tier jokes, a contagious laugh, and a dad joke sense of humor, I couldn't help but want to be friends. Brittney and I also met at Davis and became quick friends. We met almost 10 years ago now which means we've lived a formative part of our adult lives together. A life which sometimes involved too much peach vodka, staying out too late, and afternoons nursing Chinese food. Life has also been (by and far) filled with wholesome moments, such as picnics in Dolores Park for pride or driving ten miles an hour down Russell at 1am, a rainbow balloon arch stretched across the roof of Brittney's car as a passenger on each side held onto the strings. I'm so grateful that Brittney and I met, and that our friendship has continued to deepen with the years. Knowing these two separately and as a pair has allowed me to witness to the evolution of a beautiful partnership, one where the growth/journey of the other is honored. I am so excited for them on this new step in their journey together and can’t wait to see what adventures are in store for them.

Hello all, my name is Andrea! I live in Woodland, CA with my partner and 3 cats (Butters, Toast, and Doctor Professor Stripey Pants), and I am currently a PhD Candidate in Public Health Sciences at UC Davis. Sarah and I met our Sophomore year at UC Davis, and, as they say, the rest is history! We were fast friends and, being in the same major, found any and all opportunity to take classes together, study together (and by that I mean doing anything else besides actually studying), and even accompany each other as dates to frisbee or sorority formals. When Sarah told me they had met an amazing new partner a couple of years later, I was excited to add another lifelong friend to my circle, and Brittney is just that. Both she and Sarah are well and truly stuck with us now, and I am so thankful for their friendship and for being my cat’s godparents. A few fun things about me: I was born on a leap day, so I am technically only 7 years old; I believe sneezing more than twice in a row is completely preventable (and any more than that is just excessive); and I am weirdly good at corn hole. My favorite picnic snack is a good charcuterie board, paired with a nice bottle of wine!

Hi, my name is Erika! I live in Sacramento with my partner and our three cats. I’m a staff accountant at a CPA firm and in my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy books and doing crossword puzzles. I met Brittney during college through mutual friends. We got along so quickly and she became my esteemed “shot mate”. I’ve known Brittney over 10 years and I am so excited to get to be a part of Brittney and Sarah’s wedding! Fun fact: I’ve taken 8 years of Latin and have a B.A. in classical civilizations. My fave picnic food is deviled eggs!

Hi there! My name is Izza. After growing up in the Bay Area, my husband and I moved out to Sacramento with our dog Ruby. We now have a beautiful baby girl, Murphy, and another little one on the way! I am a huge festival/concert goer, most recently went to Red Rocks to see Arcade Fire. I am obsessed with Hatch green chiles and I am a terrible plant owner. The first time Brittney and I met was in Vegas of all places. We didn't talk much, but we drank and danced a lot.. or at least I did. I should say we didn't just randomly bump into each other; She was there with her brother, who at the time was nothing more than a co-worker to me. Little did we know, in a few short years, he would be my husband and she would be my sister-in-law. A few months after Vegas I was introduced to Sarah, and if there ever was a "sure thing" in life, these two were it. We immediately bonded over our mutual admiration (and sometimes confusion) of the Dinelli family, but happy to join them nonetheless. Over the years our friendship blossomed into a sisterhood in its own right. Over the last 7 years I've grown so close to both Brittney and Sarah. Countless game nights (where Sarah always wins, like.. it's definitely rigged), holiday shenanigans and get-togethers where our cheeks hurt from laughing so much and more recently, I've been lucky enough to witness them be two of the best aunties around. These two bring joy to so many folks in their lives, and I think I speak for everyone when I say FINALLY!

I met Brittney in the parking lot of a Save Mart in Davis through a mutual friend. I had since gotten to know her more through mutual friends at the LGBTQIA Resource Center, and I came to learn she’s such a wonderfully fun-loving and genuine person. I’m from the Bay Area and went to undergrad at UC Davis. I’m now an antitrust lawyer based in LA. A fun fact about me is I’m not gay. My favorite pastime is gaslighting people. And my favorite picnic food is a hefty cucumber (salad).
