We're Getting Married!

The pandemic had just begun and Ashley and Victor were two twenty somethings trapped in their childhood bedrooms, swiping on hinge, hopeful that the two week lockdown would be lifted in 2 weeks (spoiler; it wasnt). After what seemed like an endless array of left swipes, they finally hit a match with each other. Their first date was on FaceTime taking place in Long Island and New Jersey all at the same time. Needless to say a connection was made and a slough of follow up FaceTime dates ensued. They were thriving, but curious to see if their FaceTime connection would survive in the real world. Victor, being the gentleman he is, braved the pandemic and made the trek out to meet Ashley in Brooklyn. Ashley & Victor met in person for their "first" date over takeout and a bottle of orange wine and immediately felt as though they had known eachother forever. They each left with a doughnut, a hangover, and a smile at the success of tranferance of their connection from facetime to face to face. From there things only got better and their relationship grew stronger. Making plans to meet up throughout the summer, they were determined to make their unintentional long distance relationship work. Their love story continued as they both moved back to NYC in the fall. Seasons changed and in April Ashley & Victor and 2 cats moved in together. Victor quickly went from single NYC bachelor to cat dad of two and then after another few months- cat dad of three. After a year of living together, Victor knew Ashley was the one. On A rainy May Saturday, Victor invited Ashley to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for her birthday. Ashley somehow knew to wear a perfectly coordinated lavender dress, and In a field of Bluebells, Victor got down on one knee. Ashley and Victor are so excited to celebrate their love story with all of their closest friends and family on October 7, 2023! Fortunately, this celebration will not be happening over FaceTime and we cannot wait to dance the night away with all of you!
