Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We absolutely adore your little ones! However, we kindly request that you leave your children at home for this particular occasion unless they have received direct invites from the bride & groom in the RSVP.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited invites, we're only able to accommodate those formally invited on the RSVP. We hope you understand and can't wait to see you there!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please promptly be seated in the ceremony area by 5:50pm as we will start promptly at 6pm. If you are running late, we kindly ask that you wait outside until the ceremony is complete and join us at reception at 6:30pm.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. The outdoor space will continue to be available through the reception as well. So if you're feeling a bit stuffy at any point, please feel free to go outside to get some fresh air.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There's plenty of parking at Rio Hondo at no charge. We unfortunately do not have a valet.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Please wear anything that makes you feel absolutely fabulous and stunning! We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white, cream, ivory, silver, off-white, beige, tan, etc. White dress shirts are permitted.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We unfortunately did not reserve blocks for hotels at this time.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Downey is typically in the mid-70s starting in the afternoon and evening. The weather could drastically drop to mid-50s once the sun is down. If you get cold easily, please prepare a light jacket!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

For the cocktail hour, we will be having a mix of chilled and hot appetizers passed out to guests. As for dinner, it will be buffet style. We also have a dessert table, late night taco bar & ramen bar afterwards. Please come hungry!

Absolutely! Please come thirsty!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, please check the registry tab on our site.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The wedding will end at 11pm. Please go home and rest afterwards! Thank you for spending your precious Memorial Day weekend celebrating with us!
