Jim and Sohee met in November 2022 after Sohee moved from New York to LA, joining a Bible study group in South Pasadena. They didn’t hit it off immediately, but when Sohee needed a driving teacher, Jim, who often gave free lessons to friends, volunteered to help. Their first lesson turned into a six-hour adventure, ending with a kiss, though they agreed to take things slow. Weekly driving lessons soon became weekly dates, filled with laughter, deep talks, and growing affection. By February 22, 2023, they officially became a couple. Jim loved Sohee’s humor and vulnerability, while Sohee loved Jim’s patience and kindness. After a proposal on October 5, 2024, they are now celebrating their wedding on May 24, 2026.
