We met one lovely Saturday evening at a college party while the song "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira was playing. PJ yelled into a crowd "Wow this song makes me want to salsa!" to which Soha responded "I love to salsa!" It was then that they shared their first dance and P.J. was able to score a phone number. The following few weeks passed and neither thought too much about it until PJ needed a Marine Corps Ball Date. That is when PJ remembered Soha's impressive salsa skills and asked her to be his date. It is no secret that PJ and Soha love to eat. On a beautiful September afternoon, PJ had invited Soha to her favorite restaurant in Georgetown, Sequoia, since they hadn't seen each other for a few weeks due to military training that PJ was at. Soha was naturally 20 minutes late. PJ had been waiting for her near a bench overlooking the waterfront of Georgetown. Soha arrived in a hurry and the two walked down to the water to "wait for their table". Soha, fascinated by the ducks in the water, looked away giving PJ the chance to drop to a knee and pull out a ring! Soha said yes as a police boat honked and all of Georgetown waterfront cheered! Afterwards, Soha and PJ went to an all you can eat brunch where they enjoyed more food than an average household consumes in a week.
