San Francisco

Just 1 hour north of San Martin is one of the most famous cities in the world, San Francisco. Home to beautiful victorians, cable cars, trendy cuisine, a beautiful waterfront, and the Golden Gate Bridge, this city has a lot to experience. So much, that trying to list everything would be exhausting, however here are few highlights: Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Union Square, and Alcatraz Island, along with numerous amazing restaurants. Located 1 hour south of San Martin in the Monterey Bay peninsula these coastal cities offer beautiful Pacific ocean views along their wind swept beaches. Monterey is home to the world famous Monterey Bay aquarium and Cannery Row made famous by author John Steinbeck. Just minutes down the coast is the world renowned Pebble Beach golf course accessible via stunning drive down 17-mile drive. Carmel-by-the-Sea is a small artsy town on the south side of the bay. Art and wine enthusiasts will enjoy the downtown village lined with galleries and tasting rooms. Nature lovers will enjoy the white sands of Carmel beach and the nearby Point Lobos State Reserve.

Located 3.5 hours north of San Martin in the Sierra Nevada Mountains is Yosemite National Park. Famous for its plunging waterfalls and massive granite faces, this park is one of the most visited national parks in the country averaging over 4 million visitors a year. Outdoor enthusiasts will not want to miss out on the unrivaled natural beauty this park has to offer. At nearly the size of Rhode Island, there is plenty to see in this truly amazing park.

Santa Cruz

Located just 45 min west of San Martin, Santa Cruz is the closest beach town to take in some amazing views of the Pacific ocean. Known for its surf town roots, this city has more than surf shops to offer. Have fun on the board walk with its roller coasters and arcade games and then venture inland for some food and drinks at one of the many local restaurants and breweries.
