Question

How to get there?

Answer

The easiest way to get there is to fly to Florence, Pisa, or Rome and then drive to Castello di Montalto. Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) is 1 hour and 15 minutes from venue. Pisa International Airport Galileo Galilei (PSA) is 2 hours from venue. Rome Fiumicino Leondardo da Vinci Airport (FCO) is 2 hours and 45 minutes from venue. Public transportation is not available to the venue and a rental car is recommended. This will also provide access to explore the surrounding area. There will be parking on-site but try to carpool if possible. Make sure to stop by your local AAA to get an International Drivers Permit (IDP) if you are planning on driving as it is required to drive in Italy.

Question

What is the weather like in May?

Answer

Tuscany in early May is warm and sunny during the day (around 70–75°F / 20–24°C) and cooler at night (around 50°F / 10°C). The hills are lush and green, and jasmine and wildflowers are in bloom — it’s one of the prettiest times of year to be outdoors. Pack light layers, a jacket for evenings, and maybe an umbrella for a quick spring shower.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Please refer to the schedule as the requested attire is specified under each event.

Question

What if I have certain dietary or mobility restrictions?

Answer

Please reach out to Noah or Sofia as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. There will be an additional space to mention these in the RSVP form.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone! If your invitation lists a guest by name, they’re welcome to attend.

Question

Are all events at the same location?

Answer

All events will take place at Castello di Montalto. We will provide a map closer to the wedding date. For those staying off-site, there will be parking at Castello di Montalto available. There will be no shuttle service and rental cars are highly recommended. Make a friend or two and carpool together.

Question

What do I need for the BBQ and Pool Party?

Answer

Show up after you wake up and enjoy a chill day at the pool. We will have a variety of BBQ options available around 2 PM as a late lunch / early dinner. This is a time for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. If you want to swim, bring a bathing suit and a towel. If you forget your towel, no worries as you can rent one anytime for 3 Euros for your entire stay.

Question

What is an International Drivers Permit and why do I need it?

Answer

An International Drivers Permit (IDP) is the international translation of your Drivers License that can be used abroad. This is required to rent a car and to drive in Italy. Make sure to stop by your local AAA with a passport photo and $20, and you can use it for all your adventures for up to a year.
