Question

How do I get to Lecce?

Answer

Our Recommendation Best Overall Route: Fly into Brindisi (BDS) with one connection through Rome, Milan, Munich, Frankfurt, Zurich, London, or Paris. Take a 35–40 minute transfer to Lecce. Please contact Anna from Torre del Parco and she can arrange transportation from the Brindisi airport to Lecce. Join us at Torre del Parco for a time we will never forget. The Fastest & Easiest Option Brindisi (also known as Salento Airport) is the closest airport to Lecce, located approximately 25 miles (40 km) away. The drive from the airport to Lecce takes about 35–40 minutes, making it by far the easiest arrival option. Bari is Puglia's largest airport and offers more international flight options. If you find a significantly better fare or schedule, Bari is an excellent alternative. From Bari Airport to Lecce: Rental car: approximately 1 hour 45 minutes High-speed train: approximately 1.5–2 hours via Bari Centrale Station Option 3: Fly into Rome and Continue by Train For guests who would like to explore more of Italy before the wedding: Fly into Rome (FCO) Take a high-speed Frecciarossa or Intercity train directly to Lecce Travel time is approximately 5–6 hours, and the train journey offers beautiful views of the Italian countryside and coastline.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the cathedral 30 minutes prior to the service to allow ample time to find seating and use the restroom.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It’s a Catholic cathedral, so church rules come first. Italian churches expect covered shoulders and generally long trousers for men. For us ladies, shoulders and knees must be covered, and revealing clothing can get you turned away. Be sure to wear something that is below the knee. If your dress has straps or an open back, just make sure to bring a shawl/wrap/scarf that covers.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love for you to turn this exciting time into a romantic get away or a family trip of a life time. Just make sure to RSVP for the children as well, they will have a different menu.
