Our story began in 2022 with a chance encounter on a golf course. My sister needed a fourth player for a round at Stonewall Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia, and neither of us had any idea that a simple day of golf would turn into something so much more. My first impression of Nick was that he was funny, a little wild and that he drove a golf cart a little too fast. Nick says his first impression of me he was drawn to my confidence, sense of humor, and the positive energy. Fortunately for both of us, those first impressions stuck. After the round, everyone headed out for drinks. What I didn't know at the time was that Nick had gone home first to sneak in a quick shower and change his shirt before meeting up with us. His friends immediately called him out for it, and the teasing that followed made it pretty clear that he was interested. As we spent more time together, our relationship continued to grow. One of the moments that brought us especially close came about seven months into dating when Nick's beloved dog and best friend of 15 years Buster passed away. Supporting each other through that difficult time strengthened our bond and showed us just how much we meant to one another. Since then, we've built a life filled with the things we love most. We spend our weekends golfing, gardening, and cooking together. Along the way, Tito welcomed a new four-legged family member, Hooch, who joined our crew about a year into our relationship. Hooch especially loves when Nick sings to him, which happens more often than either of us would probably admit. When it came time to propose, Nick found the perfect way to make it unforgettable. On my 30th birthday, during a trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, he enlisted the help of our dear friend Luke and my soon-to-be Maid of Honor, who was secretly hiding in the woods with a camera. On the 18th hole at Mooresville Golf Club, Nick got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. What started as a chance meeting on a golf course has become the greatest adventure of our lives. We are so grateful to have found each other, and we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of our favorite people.
