Wedding Party

Louisa Pendergast

Maid of Honor

Lou is my dessert-aholic, insanely athletic and PhD-getting soul sister. Lou is crazy ambitious and never ceases to slow down, it's truly incredible to witness. She forced us to become friends first semester in college and I am beyond thankful for that every day because seriously don't know how I would've survived college without her. We like long walks in the park, talking on the phone while commuting (long distance best friend relationship is the worst) and watching any and all sitcoms by the wondrous women Tina/Amy. She is my person.

Tom Bachmann

Best Man

Tom is my actual brother - but I'd probably still choose him for this responsibility anyways, if only because I know he'd make a detailed enough spreadsheet that his job becomes fail-proof. Tom is probably the smartest person I know, and he's my go-to guy for advice on more topics than I'd like to admit. From playing endlessss hours of video games together growing up to having deep philosophical conversations over just enough beers (often about the greatness of beer), I genuinely appreciate all the time that I get to spend with him.

Kelly Bachmann

Bridesmaid

From the very first time we met at Lone Cabbage (encourage everyone to google it) she welcomed me into the Bachmann family with open arms. I am very lucky to get to officially call her "sister" and I look forward to the many (never-ending) football games, Florida shenanigans and holidays to come!!

Cyrus Sobhani

Groomsman

'Cycy' aka 'Baby Cycy' aka 'Cyrisoso'...call him whatever you want still a great guy.

Louis Steiner

Groomsman

I met Lou on the first day at The Ohio State University, when we both showed up early because we were super try-hards. Unfortunately for Lou, there wasn't really anyone else to be friends with so he was stuck with me and from that moment forward, he was my closest friend through our time together at OSU. We traveled all over the US to watch the Buckeyes including a 36-hour road-trip to LA. Lou is now in the Judge Advocate General program and gets to live in Hawaii... tough life.

Meg Williams

Bridesmaid

It all started in High School in Ruthie's backyard giggling about boys and crazy Tenleytown adventures! Fast forward 6 years and we're roommates in our first adult apartment post-grad. It was a time I will always cherish because experiencing all these new things for the first time was infinitely better with Meg by my side. John has a very high bar to meet after Meggo and to be honest still doesn't live up to the wine and face mask Fridays.

Kevin Burdick

Groomsman

One day I walked into work at King's Island and there was this random guy in charge of the restaurant that day. For whatever reason, he picked me to go "ketchup the pipes". I said, "what does that mean?" to which he explained that literally, my job that day was to put ketchup on pipes and scrub it off to shine the copper. For multiple hours. I have no idea how we really got from there to here... besides countless hours of conversations about Cincinnati sports, but I'm so excited to get to be "Uncle John" to Kevin and Sadie's three beautiful girls!

Leela Rieckelman

Bridesmaid

You cannot ask for a more caring, fiercely loyal and loving friend than Leela. We met in high school when I had just switched schools and she took me under her wing with this incredibly welcoming "I got you" attitude. Her energy is infectious. Her desire to help other is inspiring. I am so thankful we have carried our friendship through high school, college and post-grad adult life and (in the hopefully not so distant future) Richmond muahah...will keep holding out hope.

Josh Grieser

Groomsman

I'm pretty sure the first time I hung out with Josh, we convinced him to accompany us to the Mirror Lake jump before the Michigan game - we couldn't get him in the lake, so he watched as all of us drunk idiots jumped in a body of water at night when it was like 30 degrees outside. For some unknown reason, he still wanted to hang out with us after that. Some of my favorite memories at tOSU were in Josh and Ryan's apartment every Thursday night of junior year, playing 100-cup-per-side beer pong on his closet door.

Emily Evans

Bridesmaid

Em is the kind of person who can make you laugh until you're on the ground sore and then a split second later blow your mind with her intelligence. I would like to give a special thank you to the bench in the quad and when it rained the Sigep house, because not even rush could keep us apart ;) She finds the fun in life and I admire her tremendously for it. For anecdotal proof see picture above. While we have a million funny, adorable photos together, this is by far my favorite photo of Em...ask her about it at the wedding!

Justin Herzig

Groomsman

Justin and I met when he joined our summer kickball team - my first reaction was "why is this guy trying so hard, it's SUMMER kickball", and I'm sure I've never had that reaction since. Justin and I lived together for over two years, having a ton of fun with trips to cheer on America at the Ryder Cup and go to Vegas for fantasy football drafts. That is, until he ditched me to move across the country for some chick... and I couldn't be happier to celebrate their wedding later this year!

Courtney Pozzi

Bridesmaid

She is so much more than just a sister...she's my seastar...sorry not sorry! The inside jokes are endless, the crazy stories are NSFW and what I would give to live just a mile from her again is definitely my left kidney. She lives every day of her insanely glamorous life making it count, and does so with unconditional kindness towards others and a level of self-awareness that knows no bounds. She is a queen to put it simply.

Mitch Roost

Groomsman

Mitch and I met while he was interning at Capital One over the summer and while we played intramural sports against each other, we didn't spend much time together until the Outer Banks trip a couple of summers later. I'll never forget the moment I realized I'd met someone who was more intense about winning lawn games than I was, and ever since then we've been having (mostly) friendly competitions whenever possible. I am so excited that Mitch and his fiance Kayla are back in Richmond with us!

Callie Jacobs

Bridesmaid

Callie was my boss. Callie is a boss. Our friendship began in the streets of DC when she asked the question every person who ever had to learn how to drive in DC loves to be asked...can you parallel park this car for me? Me a bright eyed intern gladly accepted and the rest is history. Making friends post-grad is notoriously hard but with Callie it was effortless. If you want to have fun, experience something wildly new and then laugh over mimosas the next morning Callie is your girl.

Derek Huff

Groomsman

One of the first times that I met Derek was after I fell through my friend's ceiling while trying to do handy stuff for which I was obviously unqualified. He definitely didn't laugh hysterically at me before helping me out tremendously by fixing the ceiling. Since then, DJ Huff Daddy has been making my ears bleed with country music, loading up the White Fox to ferry us to awesome weekend excursions, and always being there whenever his friends need him - whether that be to fix something around the house or ensuring we have plenty of Diesels for our golf scramble.
