Surround yourself with butterflies. Keep an eye out for the bright blue butterflies. They are masters of disguise and appear brown when their wings are folded up. If you are lucky, you might even get to hold a thorny devil (it's like a giant stick bug). If you are like Sam and don't want the butterflies to land on you, we can guarantee you will be covered in them. Or if you are like Kylie and want to be covered, try and stay still and don't get too excited - or they will not come.
A Kylie favorite! Take your car and drive through the "safari." You will NOT be disappointed. You may even get stopped by a herd of bison (we did). You can also walk through another section of the park and see monkeys, birds, and elephants. Friendly advice - Wash your windows before you go and remember to keep your windows up, you WILL get yelled at (trust me).
Enjoy the St. Jacobs Farmers Market every Thursday and Saturday in the summer. You can even stop by the Mennonite Story Log Cabin on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at the Market and take a wagon ride to learn about Mennonite culture and history. Don't leave the market without trying the apple fritters. They are a MUST!
