Maid of Honor
As my older sister, Andi was the first friend I ever had. I remember when we were both in elementary school, I would sneak out of my classroom to visit her! She always led the way and was willing to give me advice on all my new adventures! She stood by me and supported me through my undergrad, nursing school, and even starting me first real job. Her care packages and Tiff’s Treats deliveries are always appreciated. She has been inspiring with her ability to move to completely new states and creating a life for herself. I am lucky to have a sister like her to stand by my side.
Best Man
I met Andrew our freshman year of high school, and he has been one of my best friends ever since. We have shared so many laughs and adventures together. I know I can always count on him to bring his positive attitude and fun personality anytime we hang out. I spent so much time at his house growing up that I became the honorary 3rd McTighe son. From attending sporting events, quoting 90’s/2000’s comedy movies, and road tripping from LA to Vegas together, our friendship is something I truly cherish. I cannot wait for him to be standing by my side on my big day.
Maid of Honor
When I was in my junior and senior year of high school, my talented little sister would train at my campus with the volleyball team. I would drive her and her friend to school with me in the mornings. Stephanie told me she was SOOOOO embarrassed of me that she made me a “Stephanie approved” CD that I could play when her friends were around. Little did everyone know, that when it was us two driving to pick up ice cream or fries, we would belt out to my rap! She made us listen to the same song over and over until we memorized and could rap the entire song! Stephanie has always been my partner in crime with my goofy shenanigans! I know this will not be our personal concert, but I cannot wait to have her standing by my side.
Best Man
Nick was the first friend I met after my family moved to Texas in 6th grade. It just so happened that his family had moved to the area around the same time as well. We quickly became best friends, and the rest is history. I lived at the Dailey house growing up and became the honorary 3rd son. Nick is honestly one of the most caring people I have ever met. He will do just about anything for anyone in his life and that is one quality I admire most about him. We have had so many good times together over the years and I was fortunate enough to stand by Nick’s side at his wedding a few years ago and am honored to return the favor!
Bridesmaid
Shelby is not only my future sister-in-law, but also one of my friends. From the moment we met, she welcomed me into the family with open arms and made me feel right at home! We have met up for ice cream and dinner dates when possible. She is a traveler at heart and will always jump in to help whenever she can! I am so thankful to add such a beautiful person like Shelby as a new sister!
Groomsman
Mason and I met in the 7th grade through a mutual friend. I am forever grateful to Austin Coan for introducing us, as Mason and I have been great friends ever since. We have gone to so many movies and Rangers games together over the years that I could not even begin to try to quantify the total number if I tried. He is one of the most loyal people I have ever met and is someone that has been in my corner every step of the way. I am thrilled that he will be standing by my side.
Bridesmaid
Delaney and I were in the same sorority, but we were never super close. I remember when I met her, I confused her with another member for the first six months! I gave her a ride back to her house one day. We sat in the car and talked about the upcoming election, sorority, and our goals. I remember that conversation was the start of when I truly got to see who she was as a person, and she was wonderful! We ran for the sorority board together, we have traveled together, and we have grown together. She understands me without me having to say a single word. In some instances, we are the same person, and others she is the exact push I need. I am glad she will help “push” me down the aisle!
Groomsman
I met Jarrod through Andrew about 5-6 years ago, and boy am I glad that he introduced us. Beside the fact he has a great name, Jarrod is one of the funniest, most easy-going people I have ever met. Whether it is going to Mavericks games together, watching movies at the run-down Valley View Mall, or meeting for drinks at a local Dallas bar, we always have such a great time. I am grateful for his friendship, and am so happy he will be standing by my side.
Bridesmaid
I moved to Galveston for nursing school. I moved into the apartment a few days before classes were supposed to start, so I could get everything settled. Katrina had been posting on our class Facebook page to see if anyone wanted to meet up. Turns out she lived two floors above me in the same apartment building! She came straight over to my apartment, and we talked for hours! Since then, I know I could count on her with all my rants, vents, and breakdowns from nursing school. I was so excited when we both found our first nursing jobs in Dallas. Moving back to my hometown with some of my new friends was so comforting. Our commute has lengthened, but it will never stop us from being in each other’s lives.
Groomsman
I met David my freshman year of college shortly after arriving in College Station, and I am extremely lucky that we were in the same fraternity. David quickly became one of my closest friends and that has continued to this day. He is one of the most thoughtful, caring people I know. He would often go out of his way to simply call or text me and ask how I am doing or to simply catch up. We share a similar love of movies, Aggie sports, the Dallas Cowboys/Texas Rangers and have had a lot of great memories centered around those over the years. I had the pleasure of being a groomsman in David’s wedding a few years ago, and I am super excited for him to stand next to me at my wedding.
Bridesmaid
Something I have always admired about Bethany is her outlook. I have learned so many valuable lessons from her. In nursing school, I had difficulties with some of my peers. Bethany would always talk it through with me. She taught me that sometimes when you are around difficult or different people, you can use it as an opportunity to grow within yourself. There was also a moment when I had doubts if I was good enough to follow my dreams. Bethany looked me dead in the eye and said, “that is stupid.” She then inspired me with how strength is different in each person and we just need to be brave enough to embrace it. I really do not think I would be where I am today if Bethany did not come into my life. Her heart is pure gold.
Groomsman
Alex and I met through his twin brother, Nick, and the three of us grew up as best buds. Alex is the life of the party and always was super fun to be around with his infectious personality. We have shared so many great memories over the years at football games, playing video games or at his parent’s lake house. He is also the perfect person to go to Las Vegas with (we have gone together twice now) as he knows all the best spots to have an epic vacation. It would not be the same if he was not standing beside me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Going into my sophomore year of college, I was in search of a roommate. My mother found this Aggie website for people to match and find roommates; she stumbled across a post from someone who stated, “I am looking for more than a roommate, but a friend.” My mother was sold! She sent me over the contact information…and that is how I met Paige. Her post did not lie – we became best friends to this day! I can always count on Paige to be my partner in crime, veg out on the couch, play along with my childish side, and be there whenever I need her. I am forever grateful my mother was able to connect us together!
Groomsman
Scott and I met in middle school, and even though he went away for college and stayed in New York for quite a few years after that, he made it back to Texas, and I am so grateful to have one of my closest friends in Dallas with me. Whether it was playing sand volleyball at Dove/Bob Eden Parks, checking out a new brewery in Dallas, or ribbing each other over the Braves/Mets rivalry, we have shared so many great memories over the years. I love Scott’s outgoing personality and his desire to always be there for his friends which is most apparent in his willingness to always help me move anytime I asked him (there were quite a few times 😊). I am so thrilled that he will be up there beside me on my big day.
Bridesmaid
I have no idea what possessed Katie, but at a sorority function she came straight up to me and decided we were going to be friends for life! She is such a joy to be around. Her bubbly and charismatic personality brightens any room she enters. Over the years, we have rarely lived in the same city. Fortunately, Katie constantly visits, makes time for our walks, coffee dates, and lunches whenever she comes into town. Katie makes me feel special and cared for – I know no matter what is happening in our lives or how far apart we live, she has my back. I am so glad that she will be there on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Kevin and I met during FISH Camp before our freshman year at A&M. Upon learning that each of us loved sports, and in particular Aggie sports, we quickly became super close. I have so many fond memories of us attending Aggie football and basketball games together. If the team were on the road, we would pick up Wings N’ More or Chicken Express and go back to his duplex to watch on TV. Kevin also introduced me to The Big Bang Theory, which would later become one of my favorite shows. He is one of the kindest, most honorable people I have ever met. I was extremely fortunate to be able to be a groomsman in his wedding a few years ago, and I am extremely happy to have him stand by my side at my wedding.
House Party
When I first moved back to Plano after college, I wanted to get involved in Jewish life. I started going to the Legacy West Chabad. I had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people! I had only been going for two months when Amanda reached out to me on Facebook asking to grab lunch. I remember talking to my mom and telling her that I am going to force Amanda to be my friend. We grabbed some sushi and sat down to eat. She told me how she met me in the Torah study and thought I would be a nice friend since she is new to town! We were on the same page from the beginning and have continued to stay two peas in a pod!
House Party
Some of my fondest memories with Jen Jen are eating fruit loops and watching Grey’s Anatomy. It was the best way to relax after a stressful week in college. Jen Jen lived right across from me in the dorm, and we were cordial and friendly in the hallway. One day, Kat and I stole our friend, James’, mattress. We needed a place to hide, so the obvious choice was in Jen Jen’s dorm. We knocked on the door and asked if we could hide our stolen property with her. Jen Jen did not blink or hesitate, but just opened her door wide open. From then on, I knew that Jen Jen would be my ride or die. She always has my back regardless of how ridiculous, dumb, or small the idea. Now she has my back while I start my next great adventure.
House Party
Kat and I met when we were in the 7th grade. We ran in the same circles but did not start to really connect until High School. We promised we would back each other up on how “cool” we were! We would get to school early and listen to Church by T-Pain. It was fate when we both got accepted to Texas A&M! Our beautiful roommate relationship was born. There were so many times we would sit on our beds and have deep talks or sit on the floor drinking wine goofing off. She has been by my side through every relationship and nasty breakup. I am thankful to have her by my side for all the good and bad. I am happy she can support me now that I have found “the one!”
