Steph spent the afternoon shadowing Sarah at the clinic, and when the team lead asked if they should hire Stephanie, Sarah, said “Yes!”—thank goodness! Their friendship blossomed quickly, and Sarah has been Stephanie’s best friend ever since. One of Stephanie’s favorite memories is their first “friend date” at a winery, where they both admitted they were more nervous than on their first dates with their husbands! Even after moving away, their bond has remained strong, and Stephanie couldn’t imagine her day without Sarah by her side as her matron of honor.

From football games and New Year’s festivities back at Purdue to celebrating each other's biggest life moments, including Steph being part of Allie’s wedding, their friendship has always been something truly special.

Baxter has made her life so joyous and full of love. Her life is better because of him (besides Jacob). Steph thanks God everyday that he brought him into her life 12years ago. God knew she needed a friend and kid like him although they fight over heated blankets. Steph cherishs the bond they share for the love of bonfires. Steph loves their time playing fetch, cuddles, and kisses. They were destined to be together!!! Stephanie absolutely loves every memory they have. Baxter has left a huge paw print on her heart. Riley is so unselfish and all he wants in return is her love, cuddles, kisses, and her heated blanket hahaha. “God must have spent a little more time on Riley. He knew what Steph needed in her life when she had fallen. Riley brought life into her world again just like his brother. He created Riley to be special and knew they would meet up at the perfect time. Couldn’t ask for a better rescue dog. God never makes mistakes and everyone and everything has a purpose.
