Question

What should guests wear?

Answer

We are recommending cocktail attire! This includes things like a nice dress, slacks and a button-up shirt, nice pants and a blouse, etc. We do kindly ask guests to refrain from wearing jeans.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please try to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation. Our food amount depends on head count so the sooner we know whether or not you are attending, the better! If you have RSVP’d YES, please try your best to attend as we will be paying for your food regardless of whether or not you show up.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow plenty of time to get everyone seated. If you arrive late, we please ask you do not enter until the ceremony is done so as to not disrupt.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Since it is a smaller venue, we will mark on your invitation if you are able to bring a plus one. If you do not have a plus one, but need it, please reach out to us. We will try to fit them in as best we can. (An exception will be if you have not been together very long, i.e. only a month or two, we may not allow due to size and budget restraints)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are allowing kids, but we do ask that they be on their best behavior. A lot of items will be provided by the venue and anything damaged will come out of our pockets. Please also refrain from allowing kids on the dance floor before other guests have been invited to the floor, especially during the first dance. We prefer to enjoy that moment without worrying about bumping into kids on the dance floor.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have a buffet style dinner that should allow for some options for those with food allergies. If you have several that are severe and are concerned, please just reach out and we will see how we can accommodate you!
