We’re getting married!

We started talking in September of 2022. At that point in our lives, we both were about to give up on love. We had experienced too much heartbreak and too many let downs. We met on Facebook and started talking, not really expecting it to go anywhere. On October 16, 2022, we had our first date at the Omaha Zoo. We were both incredibly nervous, but after spending the day together, I think we both kind of knew we needed to give this a chance. After a few more dates, we knew this was going to be something real, something good. Things moved pretty quickly and in less than a month we had already told each other “I love you”. After 4 months of driving between Omaha and Kearney nearly every weekend, Caleb found a house and we took a big step and moved in together in February 2023. Finally, on October 12, 2024, just before our two year anniversary, Caleb proposed at Gene Leahy Mall in downtown Omaha while we were having anniversary pictures taken!
