Question

What Should I Wear to the Wedding & Reception?

Answer

We want you to look your best while being comfortable enough to dance and celebrate with us! If you have indian clothes, wear them for the wedding! If not, a suit or dress is completely fine. For the reception, break out that tux if you have one, or again, a suit will do! Women can wear indian to the reception! Go for style in our elegant, gold themed evening.

Question

I am having trouble using the website to RSVP. Help please.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for more information.

Question

How should I get to the hotel?

Answer

If flying, we strongly encourage flying into Newark (EWR) as it is only 12 miles from the Hyatt. We recommend you do not rent a car, and instead take an UBER or LYFT. Hotel parking is $35 Daily and $38 Overnight.

Question

How formal is the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

Not formal at all! The ceremony can be long so please feel free to walk around the pier, grab some coffee and snacks, or use the restrooms. It will be outside on the pier so we encourage you to stretch your legs and take some beautiful pictures! But please try to keep the conversations to a minimum!

Question

I want to buy an Indian Outfit but there are so many options! What should I get?

Answer

Ladies - Lenghas are perfect for weddings in warm places. A Lehenga is a long skirt which is worn with short blouse, or alternatively a longer blouse, with a dupatta (Indian scarf). Men - Churidar kurta. A kurta is a kind of loose shirt which is also a traditional form of clothing worn in India. The shirt length falls around the knees of the wearer and is worn with loose fitting pants. Check out these links for examples! https://www.utsavfashion.com/ https://g3fashion.com/en-us
