Brookfield Zoo Chicago

This zoo is technically outside of the city and is just a few blocks away from where the Metra line stops.

Lincoln Park Zoo

Admissions to this zoo is free but you do have to pay for parking. One option is to take public transportation if you don’t want to pay for parking.

Willis Tower

While the correct name by Chicagoans is the “Sears Tower”, this is the tallest building in our city and cannot be mistaken. There is a sky deck on one of the higher floors where you can view the city in a different light.

Shedd Aquarium

Field Museum

Similar to the British Museum and the Natural History Museum in London. Home of Sue the T-Rex!

Griffin Museum of Science and Industry

Navy Pier

Plenty of shopping, rides, boat tours, and food! Navy Pier also features a children’s museum as well as an IMAXX theater. If you go on a nice day, you can even get a beautiful view of the city!

Cloud Gate

A.K.A “The Bean”. Something cool to stop by and check out if you’re walking around the area!

Magnificent Mile

Home to shopping in Chicago! Features tons of stores, restaurants, and some historical buildings. Also home to Water Tower Place which is a mall (shopping center) located on the stretch of road.

Portillo's Orland Park

Any location will do but one of Dave and Alyssa’s favorites and a staple in Chicago cuisine! Dave absolutely loves the Italian beef sandwich while Alyssa goes for a simple cheeseburger or hot dog (not Chicago-style).
