"Picking my favourite memory of these two may be the hardest thing I’ve ever done, not one sticks out more than the others. But over the years of sleeping on their couch, family holidays, and hangouts, I have always admired the way they steal looks from one another. Small, fast, but there's more love in those gazes than I thought there could be between two people."

I can remember the day Ben first introduced me to Liz and the look in his eyes that I'd never seen before. It was NYE 2015, drinks were enjoyed, much partying was had, and there was a lively discussion about Drake that will live on in infamy. From that first night I saw them together I knew it was something special, and having spent the next few years hanging out, my thoughts have been confirmed over and over. I was honoured to be present when the proposal went down and was just as surprised as little Sev when Ben dropped to one knee. From softball to hockey to road trips together, there truly is never a dull moment when we are all together. I am honoured to be a part of this next step in Ben and Elizabeth's lives and look forward to making more memories together.

"When I was four, I was playing Peas & Carrots (a chalk game – like hopscotch but better) on my driveway. Elizabeth, who was three years old at the time and had just moved in across the street, came over to play. That afternoon was the start of a 25+ year friendship that despite a heartbreaking period of time when Elizabeth moved to Perth, lives on today thanks to her determination and commitment to our friendship. Elizabeth is the most caring and wonderful best friend a girl could ask for. Not only that, but she found her dream guy, someone who shares the same sense of humour, and love for taco’s that I do. I’ve had the pleasure of watching Elizabeth and Ben grow together these last few years and I am so excited to stand next to my best friend, while she marries the man of her dreams."

"When I met Ben I was just a lonely habs fan walking through life in the GTA with no one to relate to. Until one faithful day where, as Ben himself put it, we “locked eyes across a hockey dressing room”. We instantly started planning activities and hatching various plans for mischief. 15 years later, things have not changed much, we still regularly meet for drinks and activities and sometimes the drinks are the activity but that’s ok. I consider this man to be family and couldn’t be happier he found someone so perfect for him."

"The day I first met Elizabeth was the historical Bautista bat flip game, both events were equally as legendary. Ben and I met at work, and when he finally let me meet Elizabeth, he knew he had become the third wheel. We’ve been laughing and joking ever since that game, and I cannot wait to stand by her side on their special day."

"Ben and I met back in elementary school and have been friends ever since. More than 20 years of friendship is bound to have more than a few great moments. The trips to montreal, St.Adele, Tobin household, the memories are endless."

"When it comes to picking a favorite memory it’s just too tough to narrow down because every time is just as special with these two. Best friends that anyone could ever ask for. What’s a bottle of wine between three friends? Empty (until of course the next one)!"

I have known Ben for quite a few years now, being his brother-in-law has not always been the easiest task at hand, but I will say that ever since Elizabeth entered his life It has been a much more tolerable situation. Which brings me to Liz, I first meet Elizabeth on a camping trip that started out a little rocky but true enough she was able to shine through quite impressively I might add, and showed us all what she’s made of. The trip was a great success and ended with a new friendship made and I believe a stronger bond between this lovely couple. It’s now been 5 years and our traditional camping trip continues. I am truly happy to have u both in my life and to be standing with you as you start ur lives together. Love you two.

My little brother Benny Bananas has always made life an adventure. We had so much fun growing up together. As we got older, Ben was always excited to hang out with his cool older sister. As we moved on to new stages of our lives, I am so proud of my smart and talented little brother and now it’s me who looks up to him. One adventure we talk about often is our first camping trip together. Elizabeth, from the moment we met, was an instant hit. This absolute class and downright badass deep woods camper changed our whole world. Ben was smitten and we were in love! I am ecstatic to be a part of this next BIG adventure and to stand beside our girl as she joins the Tobin clan. We are so lucky to have you both in our lives and truly love you both so much. Bonus! I’ve always wanted a little sister!

“I went on my first big trip ever when a group of us went to the Dominican Republic. It’s become the standard of what all vacations should be. It’s also where all of us became close friends, Ben learned to apply sunscreen, and Elizabeth never looked at a vodka cran the same way ever again. It was the best time we’ll never remember!”

"My favourite memory of Liz and Ben is their engagement. It was not long after the countdown to 2020. Ben and Liz were heading up to their rooftop balcony to take a picture with the snowman they had built earlier in the day, and I offered to be their photographer. Everything was going as expected... until, all of a sudden, Ben got down on one knee. With little Seven in her arms, Liz said "Yes!" Picture perfect."

"You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But then I saw Ben squat and I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So, there were two of us in the wolf pack. I was alone first in the pack, and then Ben joined in later. And six months later, when Ben introduced me to Elizabeth, and five years after that when I was introduced to Seven... I thought, "Wait a second, could it be?" And now I know for sure, I just added two more to my wolf pack. Four of us wolves, running around Ottawa, looking for Rook in a hot tub and Excedrin Migraine Saturday morning."
