Travel Note
We know that most of our guests will be coming from the Baltimore area, whether you are local or flying in. To get to Kent Island Resort from Baltimore requires crossing the Chesapeake Bay via the Bay Bridge. Although our wedding is in early spring and you should avoid summer beach traffic, accidents and traffic jams can still occur. We recommend allowing yourself plenty of travel time to be safe. There is plenty of parking at the wedding venue for those choosing to drive. We also will be providing shuttles to/from the hotels listed below and the wedding venue on the day of the wedding, starting at 3:20pm. The shuttle will be taking 2 trips to/from the hotels and wedding venue before the ceremony begins. Please see the schedule below: 1st Shuttle Run to Ceremony: Pick-up at Hilton Garden Inn - Kent Island: 3:20pm Pick-up at Holiday Inn Express - Kent Island: 3:25pm Drop off at Kent Island Resort: 3:45pm 2nd Shuttle Run to Ceremony: Pick-up at Holiday Inn Express - Kent Island: 4:00pm Drop off at Kent Island Resort: 4:20pm *Note: The second pre-ceremony shuttle run will only stop at Holiday Inn Express. If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and miss the first shuttle, you will need to grab the second shuttle at the Holiday Inn Express (~10 min walk). The shuttle will be available to take runs back to the hotels from the reception starting at 9pm. The last shuttle will depart Kent Island Resort at 10:10pm.

Hotel room block information is available below. We anticipate these blocks to fill quickly and recommend booking a room as soon as possible if you would like to stay close to the wedding venue and utilize the shuttles. Additionally, there are many AirBnB and VRBO rentals available in the area.

Both one and two night stays can be booked here for 4/5/24 (night before wedding) and 4/6/24 (night of wedding) at the wedding block rate. Please use the online reservation link and Group code below to book in our wedding room block. If the link indicates that the block is full, please call the hotel directly at (410) 827-4454 and ask to book in the Smith-Miranda Wedding Block. The hotel will continue to accommodate our guests at the group block rate, subject to availability. The rate is $239 per night, per room + taxes. Check-In is at 3pm and Check-Out is at 11am.

Flight
BWI is the closest airport to our wedding venue. Depending on traffic, it takes around 50 minutes to get from BWI to Kent Island Resort. We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/Cab from the airport, and allowing yourself plenty of time for traffic.

DCA is another option to fly into. Depending on traffic, it takes about an hour to get from DCA to Kent Island Resort. We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/cab from the airport to the venue, and allowing plenty of time for traffic.
