Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may start arriving at the ceremony at 4pm. We recommend giving yourself an ample amount of travel time to account for any traffic, bridge backups, etc.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests dress in cocktail attire.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

We are planning on having a short outdoor ceremony, with an indoor cocktail hour and reception. With the wedding being in April, and Maryland weather being unpredictable, we recommend bringing a jacket in case the weather is cooler!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue space limitations, we simply can't allow for all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. Those who are invited will be specifically named on the invitation. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large parking lot right in front of the ceremony and reception locations.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have secured a few room blocks at local hotels for guests to book. Information on how to reserve rooms can be found on the "Travel" page. These blocks are first come, first serve and we anticipate them to fill up quickly; we recommend booking as soon as possible if you would like to stay close to the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding block hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service to and from the Holiday Inn Express - Kent Island and Hilton Garden Inn - Kent Island and Kent Island Resort. Please visit the "Travel" tab of our website for the exact schedule.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, but if you're feeling particularly generous, there are a few things we'd love to have as newlyweds that can be found on the "Registry" page. We are fortunate to have almost everything we need, so we've listed funds for our Honeymoon/one year anniversary trip we are planning to help us make the most of our time in Greece! Anything is more than expected and greatly appreciated!
