Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! We would love to have the little ones there to celebrate with us. Finest Playa Mujeres is a kid-friendly, all-inclusive resort with plenty of activities and amenities for children. That said, if you’d prefer to enjoy this as a relaxing getaway, we completely understand leaving the kids at home! We’re just happy to celebrate with you!

Can I stay at another resort?

Answer

You are welcome to stay wherever you prefer, but we highly recommend booking at Finest Playa Mujeres since all wedding events will take place at the resort. Staying on property makes it much easier to attend the celebrations and spend time with everyone. Please note that if you stay at another resort, a day pass of $100 will apply to access the property for the wedding or other events.

Is there a specific dress code for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

For our wedding ceremony, we’re asking guests to dress in resort formal: elegant yet comfortable for a tropical setting. Women may opt for floor-length or midi dresses, while men can wear lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down (tie optional). Coastal-inspired colors are warmly encouraged to complement the Cancun setting. Think soft blues, seafoam greens, sandy neutrals, and warm sunset tones like coral, blush, and terracotta for a cohesive, beachy look. January in Cancún is warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures around 75–82°F and cooler evenings around 65–70°F, so breathable fabrics and light layers are ideal for staying comfortable while celebrating with us.

Is there transportation to and from the resort?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be available between Cancún International Airport and Finest Playa Mujeres. Guests staying 3 nights or more can use the resort’s complimentary shuttle. If you’re staying less than 3 nights, please make sure to arrange your own transportation. Closer to your travel dates, the resort will email instructions on how to schedule your airport transfer for arrival and departure. How many nights should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying at least 3–4 nights to fully enjoy the celebration and the resort. Many guests choose to stay longer to turn the trip into a vacation.

When should I book my stay?

Answer

We recommend booking as soon as possible using our promo code MSWJAN27FPM, as the resort does not hold or block rooms and the code expires on September 30, 2026. Please visit the hotel & accommodations tab to follow the steps for booking. The hotel offers a book now, pay later option where your card will not be charged until one month prior to the ceremony date, and rooms are refundable if canceled more than 24 hours in advance.

We know that traveling to celebrate with us is already a generous gesture, so please know that we do not expect any additional gifts. Having you there with us means everything.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to keep phones away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture the moment for us all to enjoy later.
