We're getting married!

Our story began in the summer of 2020 during the peak of COVID, which was such a crazy but memorable time for us. In the middle of all the uncertainty in the world, we somehow found each other and from the very beginning, everything just felt easy. While Miranda’s brother, Benji, would love to take credit for introducing us, Jacob insists that if anything, Benji actually tried to prevent it. We met on a night out when Miranda was with her brother and cousins, and Jacob was out with a group of coworkers. As luck would have it, Benji happened to work with Jacob, which is how the introduction happened. Despite Benji’s wishes, Jacob was persistent about asking Miranda out and she said yes. From the start, we quickly realized how much we aligned with each other. We had so much fun together, and before long Jacob had become Miranda’s best friend and the person she wanted to share everything with. On August 23, 2020, Jacob officially asked Miranda to be his girlfriend! Life kept moving quickly in the best way. In September 2024, we purchased our first home together, and just one month later we received the most exciting news that we were expecting a baby boy. On June 20, 2025, our son Greyson was born. He has filled our hearts in ways we never could have imagined and has shown us just how strong of a team we are together. Becoming parents has been the greatest adventure of our lives, and watching our little family grow has been so special. After navigating the beautiful chaos of becoming new parents, Jacob decided it was time for the next chapter. On November 24, 2025, Miranda had planned a family photoshoot at a Christmas tree farm so we could send out Christmas cards with the three of us. What Miranda didn’t know was that Jacob had his own plan that day. Without even warning the photographer, he got down on one knee and proposed completely surprising both Miranda and the photographer. Having Greyson there with us made the moment even more special, and it’s a memory we will cherish forever. Mexico has always held a special place in our hearts. We’ve made so many amazing memories vacationing in Cabo, both just the two of us and with friends. We love the warm weather, beautiful beaches, and the carefree, relaxing atmosphere. We are so excited to create even more memories in Cancun, a new part of Mexico, for us to explore! We feel incredibly lucky for the life we’ve built together and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding surrounded by the people we love most. (Benji Included)
