We met in the digital world, and we immediately clicked. Our first date started out with coffee and turned into dinner, ice cream, and playing with Maxwell, Renee’s sheltie. Ryan even brought him treats on the first date just to make sure Renee knew how great of a guy he was. Ryan was really impessed with Renee’s lack of sports knowledge and love of country music. Renee fell in love with Ryan’s sweet soul and legendary athletic abilities. After 8 hours of getting to know each other, we were hooked!

Ryan surprised me with reservations at a nice steakhouse in St. Louis for Valentines Day. Before going in, he pulled me aside and said he had something to tell me. I wondered why he couldn't tell me inside because it was one of the coldest days of the year. He told me all the things he loves about me and how happy he was to be with me. Since he tells me such sweet things all the time, I was oblivious to the upcoming proposal. Ryan said he had one more thing to say, but he needed Maxwell's help. He called for Maxwell, who came trotting towards us with the ring attached to his collar. Ryan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
