Bay Head Bikes
Once you arrive in town, ditch the car keys! Rent a bike right in town (across from The Beach House & Port Coffee Roasters, 2 of our favorite spots!)
Mueller's Bakery
Mueller's is an old-fashioned bakery right in the center of town with fresh donuts, cookies and crumb cake (you MUST try the crumb cake and the apple fritter).
Charlie's of Bay Head
Right in the center of town, Charlie's is an awesome restaurant/bar with views of Twilight Lake. Reservations book out way in advance (and open 1 month out) so call early for a table, or grab a drink at the bar during the weekend! If you stand on the balcony at Charlie's, you can peep the Smith's house at the northeast end of the lake!
Hoffman's Ice Cream
An absolute MUST-VISIT institution of the shore. Pralines & Cream is the generations-long Smith fave, and Matt has a religious devotion to the Cookie Dough!
The Shrimp Box
One of our favorite outdoor bar/restaurants, right on the inlet. Head here for a bite (seafood!) or drink at the bar while watch the fishing boats come in an out!
Port Coffee Roasters
The cute (only!) coffee shop in BH, right on the main road and a block in from the beach!
Beach House Classic Boardshop
The town's trusty dusty surf shop. Fun for a walk around and to grab your commemorative Bay Head gear!
Brave New World Surf & Snow
A huge combo of surf/ski/ beach gear and our favorite store at the shore!
Osborne Beach
The first beach you pass when you enter town, and our favorite patch of sand in the world :)
Jenkinson's Boardwalk
For the the full shore experience, stop by the boardwalk! (To clarify, this isn't the boardwalk from 'Jersey Shore' ...luckily... that's Seaside Heights, further South!)
Last Wave Brewing Company
Our local brewery right on the main street in Pt. Pleasant. Indoor/outdoor seating and delicious beers!
Playa Bowls
The first ever Playa Bowls! Delicious acai bowls & smoothies with fun surf vibes, right on Twilight Lake and in the center of town!
Noon
A favorite local beach photography/decor boutique (with a coffee counter) right in town!
Dune Grass Cafe
An adorable, generations-old (Smith family favorite) cafe right in town. Great for a casual lunch (shrimp tacos!!) and/or ice cream in the evenings!
Bay Head Cheese & Bottles Shop
A beloved little family-run shop to stock up on your charcuterie & wine for the weekend. For a dose of BH history, go see the flood line they still have marked from Hurricane S*ndy (we don't speak her name) inside.
The Wharfside Seafood & Patio Bar
Our absolute favorite dockside bar. Great for food/drinks alongside the boats, and usually live music in the evenings!
