No. Due to COVID we have cancelled our wedding reception altogether.
At minimum, plan to be in Leavenworth area by the night of Tuesday July 13th. The ceremony & dinner will take place on July 14th. Those who are time constrained can leave on Thursday, July 15th. If you have extra time off, we have our rental from Tuesday, July 13 - Friday July 16 and will most certainly be in the Leavenworth area for those days. We don't have firm plans for the following weekend yet - if you are interested in staying longer to hang out, please reach out and let us know so we can adapt our plans. We can't wait to see you! As we have more information on exact timelines we will update this site. Thanks for your patience.
Unfortunately our AirBNB cabin is all booked up! For those who don't yet have a place to stay, we recommend looking near Cole's Corner if you want to be close by, otherwise if you don't mind a short drive then Leavenworth has tons of options. If finding a place to stay is cost prohibitive for you or you have other restrictions (don't drive / have a car) PLEASE reach out to us so we can help brainstorm a solution - we know of several people staying in the area who may have a room to spare!
Stay tuned - we may get married on the shores of Lake Wenatchee, or else in the woods behind our rented cabin.
As much as we love kids, due to strict capacity concerns at our VRBO, we are not able to accommodate them on the wedding day (excepting nursing babies)! If this will present a serious issue for you, please reach out and we can help brainstorm a solution (such as finding a local sitter). We understand if this precludes you from attending, but hope we will see you there!
We are all family here, so we like to think we know about your dietary restrictions well (nuts, gluten allergy, etc.), but if you're concerned about something specific please reach out and let us know so we can cater to your needs.
We take COVID safety very seriously. It is our sincere hope that some or most of our guests will be fully vaccinated by the time of our wedding. In the event that this is not the case, we will adjust our plans as needed. Our ceremony and dinner will all be held outdoors, and we will consider social distancing protocols in seating arrangements. We will ask all of our guests to please get a COVID test prior to joining us (after your arrival in Washington), to prove COVID-negative status. If you are unable to do so, we will at a minimum require that you adhere to strict COVID protocols including a mask at all times and maintaining social distance from others. If you are engaging in high risk behavior routinely we may ask you to reconsider attending. We will provide resources on COVID testing in Washington for those who are interested. If you have concerns, questions, or suggestions regarding COVID safety, please do not hesitate to contact Rachel or Thomas.
Most likely we will have a casual dinner the night prior, and possibly a breakfast the day after. For full details please check back on the Schedule page of this website, where we will post more details as our exact timeline firms up.
