Maid of Honor
Jaycee, also knows as, J-bird, Birdie, & Juicy Jay. J and I have known each other since 4th grade! Back then, I was really into wearing my brother’s clothes and doing everything the boys on my street did. Jaycee was the one who made me realize that I should probably start brushing my hair and stop pretending to be a boy. Growing up, Jaycee always had an amazing vocabulary. My mom used to joke that if Jaycee would teach me a new word; and how to use it in a sentence, that I would teach her a new sport. I remember our first new word was “facetious”- Treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor. I love this word and use it often all thanks to my pal Jay! Jaycee and I have shared some hilarious moments! I love her to death and know that I can always count on her.
Best Man
GIAN NELSON - VETERAN, SOMMELIER, MASTER DISTILLER, CELEBRITY, BEST FRIEND AND MY BEST MAN. This guy has done a lot in a short amount of time. I met Gian a few years after high school when he was fresh out of the Marine Corp. We hit it off immediately and have been best friends since. We literally talk every day, touching base with each other and always checking in. Gian and I have shared a lot of good times, experiences and memories through our love for wine, cooking, hunting and the river. He is one of the most honest and caring guys I have ever met, and I know that our adventures together have just begun.
Bridesmaid
Ri-dog and I have also known each other since 4th grade! We saw each other on the first day of school and immediately clicked. We dressed the same, our sense of humor was the same, and we were, and still are huge weirdos! One year in elementary school, we found out that this boy was extremely scared of stink bugs. Ri and I made it our mission to capture all the stink bugs we could, hide them in our hands and chase him around the school yard. He didn’t like us too much. Every time Riley and I hang out, I am always laughing. That is why I love her so much! Riley is a special education teacher. If you know Riley, you know that she is the COOLEST teacher ever. She also has a side business. “Coot Boards By Ry”. Riley is a professional charcuterie board maker and is accepting orders people…
Groomsman
Jake, also known to many as Clyde, Tina, Henway, Marie, Donna joe, Jeffrey and the list goes on. He is a Veteran of the Marine Corp. He is one of the funniest guys I know and can always make anyone laugh with his antics. I met Jake when I met Ash, they were classmates along with Jake’s wife, Riley. He and I have been close since we met and have had some pretty hilarious adventures. We have gone to bull riding, motocross, and even got to break him in at the river for the first time. He is the life of the party and is always willing to do whatever the next adventure is.
Bridesmaid
Casey and I first met when we went on a trip to mammoth with our families when we were in the 7th grade! I remember eating at a Mexican restaurant called Roberto’s (great flower chips.) Our dinner quickly turned into a food fight with the table behind us. We got kicked out shortly after. Casey and I became super close in middle school and all throughout high school. When we started driving, we figured out that we could leave class at our break and go get some breakfast! We made this a routine and came out unscathed. Casey is one of a kind and I am lucky to have her and her humor in my life! Casey taught me all about going to Little Saigon and getting $20.00 massages. Our favorite spots are Jolly Foot and Venus Spa. If you know, you know. Request Kim at Venus Spa… She really gets in there.
Groomsman
My soon to be Brother-in-law has got to be one of the most down to earth, smart, and levelheaded guys I have ever met. From day one, Alex has been nothing but nice and genuine to me since I’ve come into the family. We share a love of boating, especially on the 31’ Bertram. Alex is a new dad to a beautiful baby girl Emma Leigh. My soon to be brother-in-law is an awesome guy and I am so grateful to be a part of his family.
Bridesmaid
Christy, also knows as, CP, Christ Patterson, Christ, & Harris Brown. Christy and I were college roommates all 4 years! During those 4 years we spent countless hours rearranging all of the furniture in our room, ordering all the food we could, going to Sunoco gas station for more than just gas, and patiently waiting for her parents to ship us our next box of treats, Christmas advent calendars, etc. Christy deserves a shout out for the amount of times she has heard me regurgitate due to excessive partying. Christy is full of creative wit and the best kind of sassiness! I know I can always count on her to correct my spelling & grammar errors. Life would be a lot less fun without her. Christy lives in San Francisco and is crushing it.
Groomsman
I’ve known Carson and his family my whole life. My mother worked for the Hill family for 35 years. He and I have got close in the last five years or whenever he came back from riding elephants in Ethiopia or Zimbabwe. Carson is a super fun guy to hang out with, knowing that there will never be a dull moment. He and I have had some pretty epic fishing trips together. He is an avid waterman and a triathlete. He will always make you laugh with his antics and his ability to pick on someone… mostly Travis, when we all hang out. He is a great guy and even a better friend.
Bridesmaid
Emma, also known as Memms/Memma. Emma and I also went to college together. There was one year where Emma, Christy, Siobhan, Liz and I all lived in a townhouse together. Emma was always the best cook and kept us very organized and together! One afternoon, I decided to do a little cleaning. I filled the soap container in the dishwasher with dish soap rather than formulated dishwasher detergent.... Our whole kitchen was overflowing with suds from the dishwasher. My domestic skills had gone severely wrong and Emma was slightly disappointed. I still look to Emma for domestic advice! She is the Rockstar of all Rockstar’s! Emma currently lives in New York City.
Groomsman
I have known Travis for a good part of my life, but we really became close when we started working together. When Travis got out of the Navy and moved back from Hawaii, we moved in together. We have now been living together for four years and have gotten even closer since. We have made some great memories since moving in. Some of which include meeting his array of stray bumble dates, all of our adventures on the water, and many other random daily shenanigans. He is a solid guy and I’m stoked to call him my friend.
Bridesmaid
Siobhan, also known as Shivy & Shivonda. Shiv and I also went to college together and lived together! Siobhan is my dance partner and a beautiful ray of sunshine! I can always count on her for a good time! I remember back when we played soccer, our coach initiated a 24 hour no partying rule before our games. Siobhan and I may or may not have broken this rule a few times. Siobhan is legitimately one of the nicest and most genuine people I know. When the dishwasher incident happened at the townhouse, Siobhan made me feel better by saying that our floors did need a deep clean...! Siobhan currently lives in San Francisco.
Groomsman
Kohl is another one of the smartest people I know. We met at OCC college in a cultural history class. One night we were both driving home and realized we were following each other the whole way to only realize that we lived just two blocks apart. After I found that out, we became great friends. He helped me through school……a lot… and basically got me out of OCC. Since he returned from UCSB, we have become closer friends, and even helped each other make engagement rings together and got engaged a few weeks apart. He and I have enjoyed many good days on the golf course, trips to the river and adventures in Newport. One of my great friends.
Bridesmaid
Liz, also known as Lizzy & Lizzle tots. Liz and I met in college and also lived together! Liz has a great fashion sense and was always the BEST at doing hair. I would always go to Liz before going out on the town because she knew how to do this braid called the waterfall braid! I thought it was the coolest looking hairdo ever! Lizzy and I also use to communicate with different accents. I remember one particular accent that we loved.... The “Gerald” accent. We are in full Gerald character in the picture you see of us. Liz is beyond bright and hilarious. She was also known for keeping snacks in her jacket pockets on the soccer field. Great decision for those cold winter evenings on the pitch when we were feeling vulnerable. Liz currently lives in New York City.
Flower Girl
Emma Leigh is my beautiful little niece! She is the cutest ball of love. She is fiery and full of sass!
