As I continue to wait to be an aunt, I also wait for the return of fluffy, that imaginary dog that tormented me during my childhood. GCSU and ADPI have no idea how lucky they were to have both of us be a part of them.

The first Burke girl that let dad down by not being a boy. 6 years later came the new and improved Julie with even blonder hair. True founder of our annual Labor Day weekend. You taught me to drive not only a car, but also how to drive Amy crazy with our sarcasm. I’ll see you in the kitchen for our pie bake off real soon, if you’re not somewhere out of the country.

My other half, other than Thomas. One of the few true Nashville natives, whose heart belongs to the predators and vols. Making the transition after college was much easier with my twin at work. Luckily we are both nurses, so we know how to handle all your injuries that present themselves. A bottle of wine and sleepovers during the week really made Nashville home.
