Yes, we changed our plans! We are welcoming a son into the world in November and wanted to speed things up a bit by moving our wedding to July. This will give us plenty of time to focus on these TWO new life changes and dedicate time to each other and the baby leading up to the birth.
Unfortunately, no. We have planned for the reception to be an adult-only affair.
We are glad you asked! Also sometimes known as "dressy casual," semi-formal is a step down from formal wear like ball gown dresses and full tuxedos. Please, no jeans! For women, semi-formal options include cocktail dresses and jumpsuits. Consider all options from full length and midi-length dresses, or a shorter cocktail dress. Whatever you think is best for you! For men, semi-formal options usually involve a suit or blazer, a dress shirt, and dress shoes. Ties are preferred, but optional or may be replaced by a pocket square.
Our reception will begin immediately after the ceremony at the Columns Banquet Center with light appetizers until 5:15 pm, and dinner to immediately follow. Following dinner, we will move on to the fun part- dancing and celebrating until 11pm. You are welcome to head home at any time. We look forward to having you there during any part of our day!
