Independent moves to New York City's West Village, followed by Bumble proximity setting fixed to 1 mile (like minds must prefer the same neighborhood right?), an evening out at Chumley's historic restaurant and bar, followed by late night of music at Terra Blues ... the rest is history💘

After a couple years of Thanksgivings apart, we invited our families to join us at our Mountain home in the Catskills. With the prospects of an engagement in the not to distant future, Ryan's brother (and best man to be), Sean, wisely suggested with all the family together, Thanksgiving weekend would be an ideal time to pop the question. After the appropriate calls were placed (yes, Sarah's Dad, Mark), Grey & Davis Antiques (a rush delivery would be possible-- again with the help of Sean), the foundation was laid for an unforgettable proposal and holiday. Somewhere between dinner and dessert, the normal thank you's to dinner guests, and presentation of treats to come, Ryan got down on one knee.... Sarah was completely surprised, overjoyed and of course, the answer was YES!

We cannot wait to welcome our favorite people to our favorite place. The Catskill Mountains is not only near and dear to us, but has become our home. Our venue-- Foxfire Mountain House has been a beloved get away with a staff that feels like friends. We hope you will join us, rest, relax, breathe mountain air, and spend a long weekend indulging in our favorite activities at several beautiful places.
