Question

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

If weather permitted, the ceremony will be held outside under a covered pavilion. Cocktail hour will also be held outdoors on the surrounding property. The reception and dinner will be held inside with outdoor access. For those traveling from warmer climates, September evenings can get chilly in New York so you may want to add a jacket to your packing list! Outdoor heaters will be provided but are limited.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate with us.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

If you are attending the welcome event on Friday September 29th, please plan for a dressy casual outfit. Button down shirt and slacks for the gentleman and a casual dress or similar for the ladies. Dress to impress in formal attire for the ceremony and reception on Saturday evening! Weather permitting, during cocktail hour there may be walking in the lawn so please keep in mind when choosing footwear. Please no jeans or sneakers.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

If you will not be using our provided transportation to and from the wedding, we ask that you arrive to the venue by 3:45 PM so you may get settled before the proceedings.

Question

Is there on site parking available?

Answer

Yes there is a large lot with room for plenty of vehicles.

Question

Is there a hotel block for guests? Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! Please refer to the travel section for more information on hotel and transportation accommodations.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Though we would love to choose the forecast for our special day, that decision remains up to mother nature. Around this time of year in upstate New York, the average temperature during September is anywhere from 50 to 70 degrees.

Question

We’re traveling across the country, because we love you! If we were to extend our stay, are there other nearby places you recommend visiting?

Answer

Absolutely! You can find plenty of recommendations under our Thing to Do tab on the website. Other charming towns that are worth a mention and visit include Geneva, Skaneatles, Auburn, and Canandaigua.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 25, 2023.

For all the days along the way
