This hotel is in Black Mountain, near the ceremony and about 20 minutes from the reception. We have set up a room block here for Standard King or Two Queen beds, so let them know you are attending our wedding when booking at this location!

This is within walking distance of the reception, but a 20 minute drive to any other events.

House Or Rental

Rental through Greybeard Realty in Black Mountain

Greybeard is the primary house rental company in the area, and they have some amazing houses for rent in the Black Mountain area (about a 5 minute drive to the ceremony and a 20 minute drive to the reception). There are limitations on renting within Montreat due to conferences, so look into this option soon if you are interested! If you have any questions about location or any specific house, let us know and we can take a look!

Flight

Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP)

This is one of the largest and most convenient options for flights to the wedding. Greenville is about an hour and fifteen minute drive from Montreat, so you will need a rental car.

Asheville Airport

Asheville airport is about 30 minutes from Montreat, but it is a small airport with few direct flights. If you are already going to be doing connections, Asheville might be more convenient. We still recommend a rental car for the drive into Montreat.

Charlotte-Douglas Airport (CLT)

Charlotte is the largest airport in the area, but it is about a 2 hour drive to Montreat. You will most likely be able to find direct flights to this airport, but you will definitely need a rental car.
