There are some amazing shops in Black Mountain, and we highly recommend strolling around the area. Some of the places we go every time we are in town are The Black Mountain Yarn Shop (shocking, I know), Seven Sisters Gallery (for jewelry and pottery), and Bramblewood (for home decor).
Lookout is a wonderful hiking trail in the middle of Montreat. It is a short but moderate hike and has great views at the top!

This is one of our must-eat restaurants! The pizza is amazing and so are the sandwiches. There's an option for even your most picky eater.
If you are looking for a nicer restaurant with some southern staples, this is a great option for you! The pot roast is amazing and so is the fried chicken!
