Answer

We were looking to get married in the redwoods, but the venues we looked at were out of our price range or didn't have great offerings, so we agreed San Jose would be a better fit for our wedding vision!

Answer

Absolutely! We booked a hotel room block from Saturday, August 1st through Thursday, August 6th, so please arrive early and check out some places nearby beforehand.

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. It will be hot in August, so make sure to wear something that's comfortable in hotter weather! Our wedding colors are lavender and sage - guests are welcome to incorporate these tones if they'd like, but it's absolutely not required. This goes without saying - please don't wear white!!!!!!

While we love our nieces and nephews, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

The best present you can give is your presence, but if you feel inclined to give a gift, please check out the registry tab on our website.

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Boulder Ridge. No travel involved between the wedding and reception (unless you need something from the hotel).

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, overlooking far-reaching views of Almaden Valley and the Boulder Ridge Golf Course. The reception will be indoors - dinner and dancing will all be held inside, but you are welcome to go outside during the reception (I highly recommend checking out the lights outside!)

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can hang out outside and enjoy one of our signature beverages and play some lawn games, or sit inside at the reception tables - please be aware that during cocktail hour, we will be moving some decorations to the reception room.

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

The venue is located at Boulder Ridge Golf Course - 1000 Old Quarry Rd, San Jose, CA 95123. Take Winfield Blvd all the way to the end and make a LEFT. If you get stopped at the gate or by the golf course security, please inform them that you are there for a wedding.

PARKING IS FREE When you arrive, please park in the first guest parking lot to the LEFT of the stop sign. Once you are parked, a golf cart will shuttle you to the venue - please note that if you decide to walk to/from your car at guest parking, there is a steep hill driveway going up to the venue.

We will not be providing transportation to and from the hotel. We have included a discount link on the Travel tab of the website to rent a car during the duration of your stay in California. Feel free to carpool with other guests.
