We first crossed paths in college during freshman year speech class, though at that time, we were more acquaintances than friends. For a whole year, our interactions were brief and casual, just the occasional exchange in between lectures or seeing each other at a party. Everything changed that summer. As summer rolled around, we found ourselves spending more time together, discovering a shared sense of humor and a deep connection that had been waiting to unfold. Late-night talks turned into early-morning breakfasts, and what began as friendship soon blossomed into something much more profound. Falling in love was a journey we hadn't planned, but it turned out to be the most beautiful part of our story.
