Question

Is there transportation between the hotel and the venue?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will take guests between the Holiday Inn Express in Festus and Knotting Hills starting at 4:00 p.m. with the last shuttle departing around 4:30 p.m. The shuttle will begin picking up guests from the venue starting at 10:30 p.m. with their final trip departing at 11:00 p.m.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our hotel block will be at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Festus, less than ten minutes from the venue. If you prefer to stay at a different hotel, there are a couple more in Festus and several 15 minutes away in Arnold. See the Travel page for more information.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are having a child-free ceremony and reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or a suit and tie. We ask that you refrain from wearing white.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking on-site. Please note there will be another wedding on the property, completely separate from ours. There will be signs directing you where to go for the Dyer/Maillet wedding.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will be hosting a Welcome Party the night before our wedding. Check out the Schedule page for more information.

Why aren't your dogs a part of your special day?

Answer

We love them, but they are heathens who threaten to destroy us. Here are some examples: Teddy came into the house with what appeared to be a string in his mouth but what ended up being a dead mouse. He proceeded to drop it at their feet. Sebastian is a codependent nervous wreck. He will get stage fright and refuse to move. We have to keep the party moving and he will be a hindrance. He also requires a cozy blanket at all times, like his mom. Hank is actually perfect, but he just gets too excited and will get dirty paw prints all over our clothes. While we love them to death, this is simply not the energy we need on our special day.
