The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Ladies should wear a cocktail dress, nice jumpsuit or dressy separates. If you are planning to join the second line at the end of the night, we would suggest sensible footwear- Part of the route is on traditional cobblestone streets. Gentlemen should wear a suit or a sports coat. Seersucker or linen suits are always a cool choice for men this time of year, especially in New Orleans. Please refrain from wearing jeans, shorts or tennis shoes.
We plan to comply with the rules set by the City of New Orleans. As of March 21, 2022, The City of New Orleans has released it's mask mandate and is NOT requiring proof of vaccination for indoor dining and indoor entertainment spaces. If city mandates change, we will update you here. While the mandates have been lifted, we encourage all of our guests to participate in a way that makes them comfortable. Please comply with CDC Guidelines and if you get a positive test within 5 days of the wedding, please stay home.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. If you need help finding a local babysitter, please let us know.
If you choose to drive, the church does not have a parking lot but there is street parking available. For the reception, there is an open air parking lot next to The World War II Museum or covered parking at the Higgins Hotel. This would also be a fun time to take an Uber or a streetcar ride through scenic New Orleans. There is a streetcar stop outside of the church- Ride the streetcar down to Lee Circle & St Charles and walk the remaining two blocks to The World War II Museum. The fare is $1.25 for one ride. If you do not have exact change, the RTA app is a great solution.
