Seattle-Tacoma (SEATAC) International Airport

Many of our guests are flying all the way from the East coast! Heads up: Tacoma is about a 45 minute drive south from Sea-Tac airport, so please plan accordingly. We recommend staying in Tacoma for the actual wedding on Friday, June 12th, 2026 so nobody has to drive far or worry about commuter traffic. Many of our guests are staying for longer and seeing Seattle and the surrounding areas of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Please check out our "Things To Do" tab for some of our favorite recommendations.

Hotels in Tacoma

We recommend staying in Tacoma for the night of the wedding Friday June, 12, unless you're ok with driving 45 mins+ 1 hour back to Seattle. Tacoma has a little shopping center/public waterfront park called Point Ruston. There is a hotel here that would be great to stay for central location to food, coffee, shopping, a movie theatre, and an awesome waterfront walking path. Fun fact: Slater proposed to Megan here, looking at crabs underneath rocks. https://www.silvercloud.com/pointruston/ Further down the water, there is ANOTHER Silver Cloud hotel (confusing, I know) but it is separate from the shopping & complex that is Point Ruston. https://www.silvercloud.com/tacoma/ Downtown, there is a historic Elk's Lodge that is a multi-story bar and restaurant. It's a little more lively, so it might be louder, but definitely an awesome place to visit. Maybe this will end up being where the after party is? There's a tiki bar! https://www.mcmenamins.com/elks-temple

Airbnbs in Tacoma

I included a list of AirBnb's that I liked in good areas. If you find something that's in the area, but not on the list, as long as it's close by, you should be fine.

Staying in Seattle

If you haven't been to Seattle, we highly recommend visiting! Pike Place is absolutely worth the hype, and has great local places to eat, drink & shop (so it's not a tourist trap!) We recommend staying in downtown Seattle if if's your first time. Pike Place connects to the new waterfront park with great views of the Puget Sound that also lead to the Seattle Aquarium and waterfront. There is the Light Rail for public transit to Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens). Please be aware that 3rd Avenue between Yesler and Pine isn’t the safest to wander at night. A few hotel options: Hyatt Regency Seattle Fairmont Olympic Hotel The Edgewater (luxury, The Beatles stayed here!)
